Teosyal is a non-animal hyaluronic acid, which resembles the natural hyaluronic acid of the body. By the time we reach the age of forty the level of hyaluronic acid in the body is greatly depleted and the first sign of aging are evident. Teosyal combats the signs of aging by replacing the lost hyaluronic acid, plumping the skin and diminishing wrinkles.

No skin test is required, as this is not an animal derived product. A topical anaesthetic is often applied to the skin prior to injection to make the treatment more comfortable. The Teosyal is injected into the area with a very fine needle instantly lifting the skin, defining lips and volumising the face.

Because Teosyal is a very pure product there is very little ‘down time’ and patients can normally resume their daily activities.

The typical events which are associated with dermal fillers are redness, swelling, bruising, and tenderness at the injection site, which will all resolve spontaneously.
